Marc Newman

Architect, Partner

Marc brings 14 years of architecture and interior design experience as a leader at SheltonMindel, designing and managing projects as diverse as an ocean front family compound in East Hampton, a seven story London townhouse, a summer home on Vinalhaven, Maine, multiple apartments on Central Park, a residential tower in San Francisco, and an investment office for a private family.  His work at SheltonMindel won AIA, SARA, and Interior Design Magazine’s “Best of Year” awards. He has also designed Aalto inspired outdoor furniture for Sutherland and created, with Peter Shelton, the Formwork line for Waterworks. Marc received his Bachelor’s in Landscape Architecture from Cornell University and his Master of Architecture degree from Yale University. He is raising his growing family, in Durham, North Carolina.
